Welcome to Laila's GCSEs, a service provided by Static Carnival Technologies Limited. By accessing or using Laila's GCSEs, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.
Laila's GCSEs is an online revision and study support platform that provides AI-assisted tutoring, marking, question generation, feedback, and related study tools for educational use.
Laila's GCSEs is a digital service that is made available to you as soon as your account is activated or your paid access begins. Under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, you would ordinarily have a 14-day right to cancel an online purchase. However, because Laila's GCSEs provides immediate access to digital content and AI-generated study services, you expressly consent to the service beginning immediately and acknowledge that, once access has been granted, you lose your 14-day right to cancel and claim a refund.
Paid access is provided through Annual Passes that are valid for a fixed period of 12 months. Annual Passes do not auto-renew. Your account features, usage allowances, and available tools will depend on your selected pass tier. At the end of the 12-month period, your account will automatically revert to the "Foundation" (Free) tier unless a new Annual Pass is purchased.
Please review plan details carefully before making a purchase. Because this is a digital service that may be supplied immediately after purchase, and because you consent to immediate supply, your cancellation and refund rights may be limited once access has begun. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any rights you may have under applicable consumer law.
Laila's GCSEs uses artificial intelligence, including Google Gemini together with our own prompts, guardrails, and supporting code, to generate tutoring responses, feedback, marking guidance, and study support. By using the service, you acknowledge that:
Laila's GCSEs is intended to support learning and revision. You agree not to use the service in a way that amounts to academic misconduct, including generating work for submission as entirely your own where this would breach school, college, examination, or other assessment rules.
Access to Laila's GCSEs is provided for fair and reasonable personal educational use. You must not misuse the platform, including by automated scraping, excessive automated requests, credential sharing, account sharing, abusive behaviour, attempts to reverse engineer the service, or other activity that may harm the platform or other users. We may apply rate limits, suspend access, or terminate accounts where reasonably necessary to protect the service.
You may request deletion of your account through the application settings where that feature is made available. In addition, if your account remains completely inactive for a continuous period of 12 months, we reserve the right to begin the account deletion process on your behalf. We will attempt to notify you before doing so. When an account is deleted, your live application data, including your user profile, study history, and usage records, will be permanently removed. However, limited payment, transaction, audit, fraud-prevention, and legal compliance records may be retained where reasonably necessary.
We may update, improve, suspend, or withdraw any part of the service where reasonably necessary, including for maintenance, security, legal compliance, operational reasons, or service improvement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability at all times.
To the extent permitted by law, Laila's GCSEs is provided on an "as available" basis for educational support purposes. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of opportunity, or loss arising from reliance on AI-generated content. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.
